We are an International Community representing yoga teachers and schools, currently providing our services in 76 countries including Thailand, Greece, Cyprus, Netherlands, Hungary, United States, Latin America, Spain, Portugal, United Kingdom, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Canada!
Our mission is to promote and support the integrity and diversity of yoga teaching, with a vision to support and provide more opportunities for yoga industry.

WYA Head Division consists of a group of professionals who have studied yoga science and traditions for over 79 years and have created this organization to share years of knowledge and expertise. Our GKV University accreditation in all aspects of Yoga, Philosophy, Ayurveda Medicine, and Asana Practice has enabled us to set high standards of teaching practice for anyone around the world who would like to join our yoga community.
RTY and RSY
(registered yoga teachers / schools)
If you are a professional yoga teacher or yoga school and would like to register with WYA to become a RSY (Registered School of Yoga) or RTY (Registered Teacher of Yoga) we strongly encourage you to do so. WYA offers professional registration options for yoga schools and teachers who would like to join our community and enjoy various lifetime benefits of being a part of WYA Organization. We register all yoga teachers and yoga schools whose training, teaching experience and standards meet the WYA standards. If you would like to know more about the registration process, visit our

All schools and teachers that register with us as RSY or RTY will receive the accreditation from WYA World Yoga Alliance that can enhance their credibility both nationally and internationally, increase the number of students that join their courses or trainings, or give them a chance to have their profile listed on the WYA webpage that could them promote their events, workshops, and seminars. Being a Registered Teacher of Yoga with WYA means also a chance to work with WYA community as a Committee Member.
CYT and CYS
(certified yoga teachers / schools)
If you have completed a WYA Yoga Teacher Training course via any of our accredited Member Yoga Schools, you have a chance to become a Certified Yoga Teacher/School.
All our CYT and CYS receive broad benefits and continuous support from our organization, such as free lifetime assistance, membership and organizational support for establishing WYA Certified Yoga Studio/Center.
All CYT can advertise their yoga classes or workshops for free with WYA webpage, which can help them promote their teachings and services both nationally and internationally.
All our Certified Members will receive a free ongoing yoga educational support in workshops, seminars, and conferences for 3 years (after 3 years they get 15% discount on any event), and will have the opportunity to become a WYA affiliate.
Our Certified Yoga Teachers/Schools have the opportunity to certify their students, who successfully complete the yoga teacher training course, with a WYA Diploma.
